This two-day initial training covers all aspects regarding human factors and the syllabus is i.a.w. 145.A.30(e), AMC 2 145.A.30(e) and GM 1 145.A.30(e).
Objectives of the course:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the relevant Human Factors (HF) in the operational environment
- Describe what “complexity” means and what the implications are for the organization, as well as for individual tasks and responsibilities
- Explain why HF are important to aviation maintenance and the industry as a whole
- Identify different types of errors, as well as discuss strategies to prevent them from causing failures
- Explain the role of HF in overall safety and well-being.
