The course provides a familiarisation and introduces requirements for the management of information Security (IS) risks that could affect information and communication technology systems and data used for aviation safety purposes.

It identifies those which are considered IS incidents.

Objectives of the course:

The course aims to fulfil the following pedagogical objectives:

  • Describe the main requirements of Part IS
  • Analyse Part IS procedures to be implemented according to the complexity of organisation.

  • Introduction to the Security & Information Security (I-S)
  • Interdependencies between safety and I-S events with a potential impact on Aviation safety,
  • Organisational Requirements – Implementing procedures.
