Background

Luke was born and grew up in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. After primary and secondary education in PNG, he returned to Switzerland. Luke completed an apprenticeship as a car mechanic in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. He then continued his training to obtain the B1 / C license working for Aircraft Service Bern on the Dornier 328 and later several Cessna Citation Aircraft. During this period Luke build up a propeller shop for the Hartzell Composite 6 blade propeller. After several years in base maintenance and line maintenance Luke took over the NPCA position with a small business jet operator in Bern Switzerland, a position he held in several organizations.
