Background
Born and raised in Portugal, with over half of his career developed in Switzerland, Luís Rodrigues brings more than two decades of hands-on aviation experience across military, general, commercial, and business aviation environments. Aviation has been part of his life from an early age, inspired by his father, who served as an aircraft mechanic in the military.
His background spans aircraft maintenance, structural repairs, and continued airworthiness, combined with operational experience in Safety Management and Compliance Monitoring within AOC structures (Flight Operations and CAMO). This broad exposure allows him to meaningfully bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world operations.
Luís transitioned into training with a clear objective: to bring operational reality into the classroom. His approach is grounded in practical experience, aiming to make complex regulatory and technical concepts accessible, relevant, and directly applicable to the day to day operation.
Outside of his professional activities, he enjoys travelling to remote and less explored destinations.

- Instructor in HF, EWIS, FTS, SMS, and Root Cause Analysis

- Experience in Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) administration
