Objectives

During this course, participants will learn about regulations and requirements for a Production Organisation Approval according to EASA Part-21. The course covers both, theoretical aspects in regards to the interpretation of the defined Implementing Regulations and an overview of the content of the Production Organisation Exposition. Furthermore, the course introduces an in-depth view of the approval requirement for a POA and is also a platform for discussing problems and issues experiences in the production working environment.

An introduction to the EASA regulatory framework of the Basic EU Regulation (EC) 216/2008 (history included) and in detail (EC) 1702/2003 EASA Part-21 Subpart G and an overview of all other Subparts (i.e. SP J DOA, SP M Repairs), as well as the Guidance material documents will be given.

The learning objective of this training is to give the participants an overview of the POA working environment, to understand the responsibilities of EASA (Competent Authorities) and the POA and furthermore also to understand the interactions between Production and Design.
